Just like last month, there’s been an impressive wave of new dairy-based ice cream launches at parlors around the world—so many, in fact, that we’re dedicating another edition of What’s New exclusively to them! From inventive flavor pairings to nostalgic throwbacks and regionally inspired scoops, the creativity in the dairy space continues to raise the bar.


Leading the pack and taking top honors as our Pick of the Month are standout creations from Salt & Straw, including products made from repurposed food byproducts and surplus ingredients. (More on that below!)

New Paloma Paradise at Baskin-Robbins! (United States)


Baskin-Robbins’ United States locations are offering a tropical escape with its new Flavor of the Month, Paloma Paradise. Inspired by the classic Paloma cocktail, Paloma Paradise pairs tangy grapefruit ice cream and sorbet with a swirl of mild chili-lime for a zesty, refreshing twist.


Guests can try it by the scoop or as the Paloma Paradise Fizz—a mocktail-inspired treat made with the new flavor, STARRY lemon-lime soda, and a Tajín topping. During April, Baskin-Robbins Rewards members could enjoy a medium Fizz for just USD 4.00.

The Cornetto Apple Crumble Has Landed at 7-Eleven Singapore! (Singapore)


Singapore’s 7-Eleven stores are now offering a new frozen treat made by Cornetto: The Cornetto Apple Crumble!


Inspired by the beloved baked dessert, the new limited-edition 115mL treat combines layers of apple and caramel ice cream, a gooey caramel core, and a generous topping of cinnamon biscuit crumble—all wrapped in Cornetto’s iconic crunchy cone.


YouTube Group Sidemen x Brakes Launch New Ice Cream Range! (England)

The Sidemen, a popular British YouTube group, has partnered with UK food company Brakes

to launch a new line of ice cream under their Sides brand.


Created in collaboration with premium ice cream maker Beechdean at its Cheshire facility, the range features bold, fan-inspired flavors, including:

  • Marshmallow Cake (110mL): Vanilla sponge flavor dairy ice cream with a pink colored marshmallow sauce, a raspberry sauce, and sponge cake pieces

  • Chocolate Brownie Fudge Cake (110mL): Chocolate-flavored dairy ice cream with a chocolate fudge sauce, chocolate-flavored brownie pieces, and sponge pieces

  • American Style Cookie (90mL): Vanilla-flavored ice cream sandwiched between chocolate chip cookies

  • Cookies & Cream Cookie (90mL): Milk-flavored ice cream with chocolate cream sandwiched in between cocoa biscuits

  • Stracciatella Stick (110mL): Cream-flavored ice cream with dark chocolate coating and cocoa-flavored cream

  • Chocolate & Vanilla Cone (no information available at time of publishing)

The brand’s range will have national distribution.


New: Solero Berry Bliss Ice Cream Sticks! (England)


Solero Berry Bliss Ice Cream Sticks blend juicy strawberry and raspberry flavors into a refreshing treat—featuring strawberry ice cream with a tangy raspberry swirl and coating. With just 97 calories per stick, it’s a fruit lover’s dream that’s gluten-free and made without artificial colors or flavors!

A 90mL stick is GBP 2.00 (USD 2.69) and can be found at leading retailers, including Tesco. A 3x90mL pack is also available for GPB 2.75 (USD 3.74).


Helados Romero Creates New Lotus Cookie and Saffron and Pistachio Egg Cream Flavors! (Spain)


Helados Romero is offering two new flavors this season, both created by world-renowned chef Adolfo Romero!


Inspired by La Mancha with a bold Indian twist, the new Egg-Based Saffron and Pistachio ice cream combines buttery, toasted stamens of saffron with sweet-and-salty candied pistachios for a rich, aromatic experience.


The new Lotus Cookie Ice Cream flavor, highly requested by customers, is a marbled flavor made with 90% Lotus biscuit and 10% sunflower oil.

McDonald's x Ramo Launch the Gansito McFlurry! (Colombia)


The newest McDonald's dessert, predicted to “win the hearts of the '90s generation,” is inspired by the popular Colombian snack, Gansito.


In the Gansito McFlurry, the famous Gansito cake—a Mexican snack cake made of cake crumbs and blackberry sauce—pairs with classic Gansito chocolates and traditional McFlurry ice cream based on milk and natural vanilla. The result is a memorable snacking experience that costs approximately COP 10,900 (approximately USD 3.62).


Nescafé Cappuccino Sticks Have Arrived! (Mexico)


The Nescafé Cappuccino Stick—Mexico’s first ice cream bar with a smooth, soft coffee coating —is a breakthrough innovation from Grupo Herdez, which owns Nestlé Mexico.


Filled with rich vanilla and coffee ice cream, it delivers the whole cappuccino experience in a convenient, frozen format. What sets the soft coating apart is that it contains real coffee—and no chocolate or cocoa—ensuring an authentic, uncompromised cappuccino experience in every bite.


The new treat from the country’s leading coffee brand is like enjoying your favorite creamy, bold café drink on a stick! The 85mL treats are available for an average of MXN 45.00 (approximately USD 2.33), primarily in retail locations, including convenience stores and pharmacies. A multi-pack is coming soon.


Harry Potter x Moyo: New Enchanted Pumpkin Ice Cream Flavor! (Mexico)

Moyo announced its new ice cream flavor in a Harry Potter collaboration: Enchanted Pumpkin!


Enjoy the new pumpkin spice-flavored frozen yogurt on its own, in a shake, or in a smoothie. All cups and spoons used with the treat are inspired by the four houses that make up Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!


The Enchanted Pumpkin ice cream flavor is available in stores across Mexico until June 8.



16 Handles Jumps on the Viral Dessert Trend With Dubai Chocolate Frozen Yogurt! (United States)


The newest frozen yogurt flavor from 16 Handles, Dubai Chocolate, taps into the viral dessert trend—but turns the original chocolate bar inside out. Within this new international flavor, find a creamy pistachio-rich base with crushed milk chocolate bites and a hint of cocoa.


Dubai Chocolate is available at all participating locations nationwide. Prices range from USD 6.95 for a Mini (6oz) to USD 29.95 for a Mega (32oz).



Graeter’s x New Riff Distilling Make Bourbon Ball Flavor and Graeter’s Banana Chocolate Chip Returns! (United States)


Graeter’s Ice Cream fans can rejoice: Banana Chocolate Chip is available again, and this time, it joins the company’s line-up permanently!


The beloved flavor, which “tastes like a chocolate-dipped banana in a scoop,” according to the brand, features a rich, creamy banana base loaded with Graeter’s signature chocolate chips. Although the flavor was always available around every July, it had never been offered permanently before.


Graeter’s Ice Cream teamed up with another Ohio-based business, New Riff Distilling, to create a new limited-edition flavor, Bourbon Ball.

Offered for a limited time at New Riff’s Gift Shops and all Graeter’s locations, the flavor partners the smooth warmth of a specially selected New Riff Single Barrel bourbon with Graeter’s rich dark chocolate and bourbon-glazed pecans.


It’s available now online, at Graeter’s stores, and at the distillery—and will be arriving soon at select grocers.

Limited-Time Salted Brown Butter Cookie Dazzler from Häagen-Dazs! (United States)


The Salted Brown Butter Cookie Dazzler features Häagen-Dazs’ new Salted Brown Butter Cookie ice cream, mixed with crispy chocolate chip cookies, drizzled with hot fudge, and topped with a fluffy whipped cream. It’s a classic ice cream sundae with an elevated twist!


The new feature can be found at nationwide stores until June 14 for around USD 9.89.


Salt & Straw’s The Carrot Cake and The Upcycled Food Series Debuts! (United States)


For a limited time, a new product is available at Salt & Straw: The Carrot Cake!

The artisanal ice cream company describes the fresh release as “rich cake-batter ice cream swirled with tangy cream cheese frosting, layered between spiced, house-baked roasted carrot cake and soft cake crumbles.” It’s priced at USD 79.00 and can serve 10–20 people.


Besides The Carrot Cake, the company has another new launch to check out: The Upcycled Food Series. The range, which creatively repurposes food byproducts and surplus ingredients to reduce waste and create innovative ice cream experiences, contains four unique dairy flavors:

  • Chocolate Malted Potato Chip Cupcake: A decadent chocolate indulgence with malty barley milk ice cream, generously mixed with fudgy chocolate-glazed cupcake pieces and crunchy, chocolate-dipped Uglies potato chips, all swirled together with a luscious caramel ribbon

  • Coffee and Stone Fruit Marmalade: The depth of robust, beanless coffee ice cream, crafted from Atomo’s Arabica blend, harmoniously blended with sweet and tangy stone fruit marmalade made from rescued nectarines and apricots

  • Salted Grapefruit Coconut Julep: A tropical twist on the classic Derby cocktail: coconut cream infused with tart cacao pulp and a salted grapefruit julep, enhanced by 'wheyskey' from Wheyward Spirit, offering a refreshing and spirited treat

  • Banana Parsnip Sherbet: A velvety sherbet made from roasted bananas and parsnips, sweetened with honey and cinnamon, blended with cream, vanilla, and a splash of bourbon for a unique and comforting flavor profile


A non-dairy flavor also joins the release.


Each of the 16oz (473mL) pints retails for USD 15.00 online. The flavors were also available to enjoy at Salt & Straw locations at both U.S. Disney Parks during April.
