This roundup covers notable retail ice cream and frozen dessert launches from across the globe — spanning Asia, Europe, and North America. From a landmark new brand in Japan to better-for-you innovations in Canada and upscale format extensions in India and France, this month reflects how diverse and fast-moving the category continues to be.

A few themes driving growth this month:

  • Novelty formats — Sticks and bars continue to deliver, a format category that has sustained momentum for over a decade and shows no signs of slowing.

  • Artisan brands going retail — Scoop-shop and craft brands are making deliberate moves into grocery and quick commerce, finding new channels and new audiences.

  • Premium — Extra-indulgent sub-lines and luxury format extensions are appearing across multiple continents, reinforcing that the trade-up consumer is here to stay.

  • Plant-based — The conversation has shifted from dairy-free as a compromise to texture and flavor as a genuine proposition.

This month's Pick of the Month goes to Twister Frrreeze by The Magnum Ice Cream Company. What sets it apart is its proprietary long-lasting cooling sensation technology.

Let’s discover more about the latest launches from around the world!
