At Innodelice, we believe that while knowledge is key to making good decisions, collaboration is what truly unlocks the frozen dessert industry's growth. By connecting manufacturers, brands, importers, distributors, and suppliers through a worldwide ecosystem of solutions, we help the industry move faster, together. In that spirit, we share what we discover around the world so you can stay informed, find inspiration, and make better decisions, faster.

In this edition of What's New in Retail, we brought together 10 launches from Asia, Europe, and North America that caught our attention this July. Products we thought could inspire you, that you should be aware of, or that showcase where the market is heading. This month's selection reflects a clear direction: brands are increasingly using collaboration and cultural storytelling to create desire and a sense of occasion around their products.

⭐ Pick of the Month: Viral 3D Fruit-Shaped Ice Cream, now at Costco. A format born in Asian specialty stores and all over social media has just landed in mainstream US retail. Photogenic, instantly shareable, and priced for impulse buying -- this is what a trend arrival looks like.

Here's a closer look at this month's retail launches.

Magnolia × F&N: Super Mario Galaxy Collection (Singapore)

F&N Magnolia launched a limited-edition Super Mario Galaxy collaboration in Singapore, celebrating the upcoming movie with themed packaging across its ice cream novelty line. The collection extended across the brand's broader product range, including milk and promotional merchandise, creating a cohesive campaign rather than a standalone ice cream launch.

The Choco Berry stick launched as a 7-Eleven exclusive islandwide, marketed as a collector's item with galaxy-themed packaging featuring characters like Princess Peach and Toad, while multipack formats were available through grocery retailers. More than a product story, this was a marketing one, leveraging a globally recognized IP to drive visibility and purchase intent across age groups.

Europe

Lyle's Golden Syrup: Ice Cream Range (UK)

A British pantry icon since 1881, Lyle's Golden Syrup stepped into the frozen aisle for the first time. Crafted with fresh British milk and rich double cream, the ice cream base carries generous ripples of authentic Lyle's Golden Syrup throughout, staying true to the brand's signature buttery amber warmth. Made with no artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives, it positions itself as premium yet accessible, working just as well as a standalone treat as it does alongside warm desserts like pancakes or crumbles.

The range launched with the classic syrup swirl pint at Iceland, with a wider national rollout across major grocers planned to follow. A second variant featuring honeycomb pieces is confirmed for later this year, bringing the same double cream base with added textural crunch.

Format: 325g (500ml) tub

Price: £4.75 (USD 6.00)

Distribution: Iceland stores; wider rollout planned (United Kingdom)
