CU Launches Chicken Ice Cream! Korea

CU recently launched its innovative chicken ice cream, marking the first release of this seasonal summer product in Korea. The unique treat gained massive popularity overseas on social media, especially in the U.S., where it sold out despite a steep price of over $100 for nine pieces.
The chicken ice cream cleverly mimics the appearance of a fried chicken leg. Its outer layer is coated with crunchy corn flakes to replicate the crispy fried batter texture, while the inside features smooth milk ice cream coated in white chocolate, maintaining the shape of a chicken drumstick.
Priced at KRW 2,800 (USD 2.02) per piece, CU’s version is more than 70% cheaper than its U.S. counterpart, making this viral product significantly more accessible to Korean consumers.
Food Union Latvia Introduces 10 New Ice Creams for Summer 2025! Latvia
Food Union Latvia is ushering in the summer season with an exciting line-up of 11 new ice cream products! The company has invested approximately EUR 500,000 (USD 582,000) in the development and market launch of these treats, which include offerings from their popular brands: Pols, Vēsma, Ekselence, and Tio.
Pols

Pols introduces five new products this year, showcasing creative combinations and formats. These include a:
White-glazed ice cream bar with chocolate cookie bits
Peanut butter-flavored cone
Coconut bar with real coconut flakes
Pols cream ice cream sandwich with raspberry sauce between whole grain oat cookies
Vesma
The Vēsma brand expands its range with two kefir-based ice creams in waffle cones: one with strawberry sauce and the other with blueberry sauce. These options offer a lighter, refreshing alternative, leveraging the growing popularity of fermented foods.
Ekselence
The Ekselence brand caters to gourmet tastes with three new double-coated ice cream stick! Each one is the perfect combination of rich Latvian Vanilla ice-cream and two crispy chocolate layers with a decadent filling in-between:
Peanut butter ice cream
Cream ice cream with pomegranate-raspberry sauce
Cream ice cream with pecans and maple syrup
Tio
Lastly, Tio adds a new banana-flavored ice cream to its cocktail-inspired range, complementing the existing cream and chocolate flavors, and making it an ideal choice for creating colorful ice cream scoops or cocktail mixes at home.
These new products are available in supermarkets across Latvia.
Persyn Launches Koh-Lanta Ice Cream Collection! France
Persyn, in partnership with TF1 Licensing and Adventure Line Productions, has unveiled a Koh Lanta-themed ice cream line that brings the spirit of the beloved TV show directly to frozen treats.

The line-up features a standout 70 ml (39g) Totem Glacé—a crunchy-coated bar available in milk chocolate and salted caramel flavors—sold in packs of four. Alongside it is the inventive Koh Co Givrée, a 150mL coconut ice cream served within its natural fruit shell, available in two-piece packs.
Reflecting the adventurous aesthetic of Koh Lanta, the packaging showcases the show’s signature totem design and will be supported in-store by eye-catching point-of-sale displays.
The Totem Glacé retails for EUR 2.95 (USD 3.44) per 4-pack, while the Koh-Co Givrée is priced at EUR 4.95 (USD 5.76) for a 2-pack. The new products are available in French supermarkets and through a range of impulse channels, including wholesalers and food-service outlets.
Asda Launches Loaded Mini Ice Cream Tubs! United Kingdom
Asda has introduced its new Loaded Mini Ice Cream Tubs, offering a convenient and affordable way to enjoy premium-style ice cream at home. Each tub contains 110ml servings, making them perfect for portion control or sharing.

The Loaded Mini Ice Cream Tubs come in two indulgent flavors: Cookie Dough and Chocolate Brownie, featuring generous chunks of cookie dough and brownie pieces swirled into creamy ice cream.
The Fruity Mini Ice Cream Tubs offer refreshing options with Mango & Raspberry and Strawberries & Cream flavors, ideal for a lighter, fruit-forward treat.
Priced at GBP 3.48 (USD 4.67) for a 4-pack (440mL) containing two of each flavor, these mini tubs offer a budget-friendly alternative to premium brands, with customers noting their similarity to higher-priced options.
The mini tubs are available in Asda stores and online.
Angel Delight Soft-Serve Launch! United Kingdom

Angel Delight, the beloved UK dessert brand from Premier Foods, is introducing Angel Delight Soft Serve Ice Cream Lollies, bringing a nostalgic twist to frozen treats!
Inspired by the classic Angel Delight dessert mixes, the new soft serve ice cream is fluffy, light, and bursting with flavour. Two options are available: Strawberry & Vanilla and Butterscotch & Chocolate.
A pack of 4x75mL treats costs EUR 2.75 (USD 3.65) and is available at select Morrisons locations.
Mercadona’s Newest Releases: Duo Brownie Ice Cream by Hacendado and Dochi Banoffee! Spain
Mercadona has just launched the Duo Brownie ice cream by Hacendado (Mercadona’s private label)—an indulgent frozen treat that’s quickly gone viral on Instagram and TikTok!

Priced at EUR 3.35 (USD 3.90) for a 500mL tub, it blends creamy vanilla and chocolate bases with generous chunks of brownie, which make up about 11 % of the product. The generous chunks of brownie-style sponge cake woven throughout offer a moist yet crunchy texture that’s similar to a freshly baked treat.
Because of the social media virality of the sweet treat, it’s one of the most popular products in Mercadona stores.
In addition, Mercadona has launched a new frozen dessert called Dochi Banoffee, blending the chewy texture of traditional Japanese mochi with the indulgent flavor of classic banoffee pie! This innovative treat features a soft rice-dough shell filled with a rich banana-cookie ice cream center, swirled with dulce de leche, and topped with crushed biscuit for added texture.
Inspired by the growing popularity of mochi-based snacks in Western markets, Dochi Banoffee offers a unique cultural mash-up in a convenient, 216mL pack, priced at just EUR 2.85 (USD 3.27). It can be found in Mercadona supermarkets.

Krunchy Extreme (75g per cone): An intensified version of the classic Krunchy, combining chocolate ice cream with a mix of crunchy ingredients and an even crispier cone (in cone and pint-sized boxes)
Mmmio Pecans with Caramel and Caramelized Almonds (70g Bar): A revamped Mmmio flavor featuring an irresistible blend of pecans, caramel, and caramelized almonds
Salted Caramel Ice Cream with Swirls of Cookie and Caramel (540g): A creamy and sophisticated combination, perfect for lovers of contrasting flavors

Brothers Ice Cream Debuts All-Natural Junior Cones! United States

Brothers Ice Cream introduces Junior Cones, a mini cone designed for snack-sized indulgence. Each 110-calorie cone features premium vanilla dairy ice cream coated in rich chocolate and topped with naturally dyed rainbow sprinkles—no artificial dyes—making it both fun and wholesome for all ages!
The new cones are available nationwide in Costco freezer aisles and via Costco Same-Day delivery. Stock is expected to move fast due to its popularity.

Kroger's Summer in a Pint collection debuts with four uniquely crafted ice creams and sherbets designed to evoke vacation vibes. The line-up includes:

Italian Style Summer Fizz: A blood orange sherbet with popping candy clusters and a citrus ribbon
Fireside Nights: Toasted marshmallow ice cream studded with s’mores bits and an orange swirl
Sandy Shores: Coconut ice cream blended with sweet-and-salty pretzel crunch
Poolside Tan Lines: A trifecta of vanilla bean, chocolate, and coffee ice creams
These seasonal pints retail for approximately USD 2.99 for a 48oz (473mL) tub, Kroger’s classic price point for premium ice cream. Available exclusively at Kroger Family of Stores, the collection launched in early June 2025 and is available only while supplies last.
To celebrate the summer solstice, Kroger also gave away 92,000 free pints—one for each of the 92 days of summer—via single-use digital coupons at FreeKrogerIceCream.com, valid from June 20 to July 4.

Lactaid has introduced a new Lactose‑Free Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream, blending creamy chocolate ice cream with a rich swirl of peanut butter.
Crafted from 100% real milk and cream sourced from cows not treated with artificial growth hormones, the product incorporates added lactase enzymes to break down lactose into easily digestible sugars like glucose and galactose.
Available nationwide for USD 5.49 per 946mL pint, this debut allows those with lactose intolerance to enjoy a classic dessert without discomfort.
