Elato Ice Cream Launches Quattro Pistachio Explosion Gelato! Australia
After over a year of development, Elato has launched Quattro Pistachio Explosion, a world-first gelato brought to market through a collaboration with Pistachio Papi, renowned for its viral pistachio spread.
The indulgent tub brings together four premium pistachio elements, delivering a layered experience:

A rich pistachio gelato base containing 30% more nuts than typical Italian gelaterias
Generous caramelised pistachio pieces throughout
A swirl of Pistachio Papi’s signature spread around the edge of the tub
A crunchy hard-shell topping made from the same spread and garnished with extra caramelised pistachios
Crafted in Melbourne, this creation required a purpose-built manufacturing machine imported from Italy by Aurora Foods. It's not just a flavor innovation—it’s also a celebration of what collaboration across three Australian businesses can achieve.
The limited-edition gelato is now available in the promotional freezer at select Coles stores across Victoria, NSW, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, and at LaManna Supermarket in Essendon Fields.
With previous Pistachio Papi offerings regularly selling out quickly, fans are encouraged to purchase early. At the time of publication, pricing wasn’t available.
Limited-Edition Gyokuro Green Tea Ice Cream from Häagen-Dazs Japan! Japan

In celebration of its 35th anniversary in Japan, Häagen‑Dazs unveiled an upgraded green tea-inspired variant called Gyokuro Häagen-Dazs. This version uses powdered gyokuro leaves and gyokuro extract and offers stronger tea notes than Häagen-Dazs’ Green Tea flavored ice cream. The result is an exceptionally rich, ceremonial-grade flavor offered at around JPY 400 (USD 2.71) per 3.4oz cup.
